We are Independent Hearing Aid Specialists, established in 2000. Specializing in diagnostic audiometry, digital hearing aid fitting, ear wax removal and hearing protection. Covering Leeds, York, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Wetherby, Boston Spa, Wakefield, Yeadon, Rawdon, Otley, Ilkley and surrounding areas of West and North Yorkshire.
All our Hearing Aid Audiologists are registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). Members of the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA) and DBS checked. Even if your outside our area we’ll do our best to give you the best advice and may be able to recommend someone suitably qualified in your area (maybe map of Yorkshire area?)

Ear Wax Removal
Qualified in Micro suction since 2017 we are very experienced in wax removal using the latest equipment and techniques. We take a thorough case history as well as high definition before and after (wax removal) photos using the Tympa 2 system as well as Video Otoscopy for wax removal done in store. These images can be used to diagnose any ear conditions that may require onward referral to GP or ENT. We offer a complimentary hearing screening check once wax is removed and can offer a full hearing assessment based on these results to diagnose the type and severity of hearing loss. Full hearing assessment
Based in our recently refurbished consulting rooms in Horsforth with custom sound booth facilities. We offer a free full hearing assessment including comprehensive case history, video otoscopic examination of the ear canal and Tympanic membrane (ear drum). Diagnostic pure tone audiometry, including masking (where required) and speech testing. We aim to explain the results fully in a way that explains the problems you may be having and offer solutions to your individual hearing needs. If we think that hearing aids may benefit you we offer a free demonstration of the latest hearing aid technology. With no commitment to buy or ‘hard sell’ we aim to simply offer the best advice on the most suitable solution(s) to your hearing need from the whole range of hearing aid manufacturers, not just one brand or own brand solutions like many high street chains.

As well as custom hearing aids and custom ear moulds we are able to take impressions for custom noise protection for a variety of different types of uses such as musicians, shooting, industrial noise and motor sport.
We supply and fit hearing protection from a range of manufacturers such as ACS Pro series, Emtec Noisebreaker and Phonak Serenity choice, from £90 plus VAT per pair.

Roger technology & accessories
There is some fantastic technology in the latest hearing aids, but as good as they are sometimes with severe hearing loss or extremely challenging listening situations it cam still be difficult to hear clearly. Roger helps in noise and over distance.
